This airport was an okay airport with unhelpful staff to a place that doesn’t smell like cigarettes and a comfortable environment. If your the richest person in the world I do not recommend this place for you but overall your traveling somewhere not buying a new home, so yes I do recommend this place. It has good restaurants and reasonable prices, I said reasonable! Not good, Hah! Not to mention we can all admire the beautiful Las Vegas signs and the majestic looking architecture interior and exterior alien things due to the conspiracy’s of Las Vegas.

Had a very pleasant experience here from start to finish, smooth sailing so to speak! Impressed with the cleanliness of this airport, and really enjoyed the artful decor and interesting sculptures throughout the facility. As far as airports are concerned, I’d say McCarran is doing a fine job and providing travelers a safe experience while still treating them respectfully which is all that matters at the end or beginning of the journey.

Good airport, but also one of the busiest airports in the United States! Can be very crowded at times, and even more so on holidays. Keep this in mind and don't underestimate your times! Climate system inside the airport can be improved. Bring snacks, as most airlines charge an arm, a leg, and your first born for food, and so does the airport itself.

I was there several times but last year I got to stay several hours waiting for my plane there. I left Seattle at 6pm for LA. It was supposed to be a direct flight. Next thing we knew we were going to Vegas. Once we were there, it felt like the heater was on. The ac wasn't working It was 115 deg F and the airport was burning hot. We were there for 4 hours and it was hot the whole time.

Signage is awful at this airport. Remote parking signs at the airport are the size of a sheet of paper. Ridiculous. Not to mention extremely confusing signs directing people to shuttles where you don't know what type of shuttle it is, for rental car, for another terminal Etc. Missing signs at the international Gates security access. We had to walk around in circles trying to find it. Huge airport with numerous Terminals and lots of restaurants and dining options but missing the mark in basic signage for people to get where they need to go! Also this is such a huge airport. It's not friendly to people with small children or difficulty with Mobility. I've never walked so much in my life just to get to baggage claim! I will definitely not fly out of this airport again if I can help it. The Ontario Airport and San Diego airports are so much better by far! Update 4/2019: Waiting over 50minutes for luggage.
